Raymond B. Holscher age 82 of 6783 St. Rt. 66, Newport, Ohio died Monday, November 28, 2011 at his home, he had been ill for 7 months. He was born November 30, 1928 in Yorkshire, Ohio to the late Fred & Clara (Poeppelman) Holscher. He married Pauline "Tootie" Marchal on October 15, 1958 in Newport, Ohio. She preceded him in death on April 10, 1992. He is survived by children: Mark & Debra Holscher, Ft. Loramie, Matt & Lanell Holscher, Russia, Martha Holscher, Ft. Loramie, Michael Holscher, Ft. Loramie, Morris Holscher, Minster, Marvin & Teresa Holscher, Ft. Loramie, Marla & Stanley Grieshop, Covington; brothers & sister, Robert Holscher, New Bremen, Wilfred & Rita Holscher, Minster, Rosemary & Don Homan, Burkettsville, sister-in-laws Frances Holscher & Ruth Holscher, Osgood; 15 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Mathilda Pleiman and brothers, Urban, Edward, Joseph, Leo and Alfred. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport, Ohio, Osgood American Legion and past commander, Veteran of the Korean War and the sexton for Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. He was retired from Midmark Corporation after 23 years and an avid auction attendee. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, December 2, 2011 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport, Ohio with Rev. Steven Shoup celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, Ohio from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2011 and from 9 to 10 AM on Friday, December 2, 2011. Burial will be in Sts.
