Raymond A. Heitman age 89 of 10701 St. Rt. 119 Anna, OH died 8:12 AM Saturday August 23, 2014 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, OH following a Brief illness. He was born Sept. 18, 1924 in Minster, OH to Albert and Margaret (Zircher) Heitman, they preceeded him in death. He was married April 25,1945 to Betty Hamp she died Feb. 7, 2011. He is survived by his children Pat & Jim Albers, Minster; Vickie & Jack Albers, Celina; Kathy & Keith Coy, Sidney; Becky Dirksen, Greenville; Steve & Teri Heitman, Wapakoneta; Mike & JoAnn Heitman, Anna; Doug & Becky Hietman, Houston and Tim & Melissa Heitman, Anna, 25 Grandchildren and 37 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Roman & Shirley Heitman, Anna and a sister Rose & Ken Mills, Dayton. He was preceeded in death by 3 siblings. Ray was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville, a Veteran of WWII and retired from farming and Goodyear Tire in St. Marys in 1987. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday August 28, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church, Rev. James Miller Presider, burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday and 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Thurday at Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements are being made by Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
