Raymond H. Deloye

Raymond H. DeLoye age 93 of Houston, Ohio died at 3:30 AM on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Wilson Hospital, Sidney, Ohio. He was born on January 12, 1928 in Shelby County to the late Henry & Gertrude (Eilerman) DeLoye.  On June 13, 1951 he married Mary Ann Heckman in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, Ohio. She survives in Houston.  He is survived by children: Susan & Ray Ayearst, Monticello, KY, Allan & Nancy DeLoye, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Ron & Pam DeLoye, Russia, Ohio, Tim DeLoye, Sidney, Ohio, Laura DeLoye, San Luis Obispo, CA, grandchildren: Matt & Kim Koverman, Ben & Katy Koverman, Kevin DeLoye, Aaron & Jarica DeLoye, Kaitlin & Adam York, Nicole & Ryan Coon and Andrew DeLoye, 15 great grandchildren, in-laws Rosalie DeLoye, Yorkshire, Ruth Simon, Piqua, Jeanette Eilerman, Sidney, Paul & Irene Heckman, Flower Mound, Texas, Richard & Esther Heckman, Frenchtown, Delores Homan, Coldwater. He was preceded in death by an infant child, brothers, Paul DeLoye, Robert DeLoye, a sister, Amelia & Norbert Heckman, in-laws, Bernard Simon, Albin Eilerman, and Gerald Homan.   Ray was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport, Ohio and the Men’s Sodality of the Church. Ray was a 4 ^th degree knight of St. Gaspar del Bufalo K of C Minster and a 3 ^rd degree knight at the K of C Russia. After his retirement from Stolle Corp, Sidney, Ray was a volunteer and donor for Blood Drives and was very active in many church activities and helped with the Turkey Festival. He enjoyed playing euchre, gardening, and dancing. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport. Burial will take place in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 4-7 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 and from 9 to 10 AM on Friday.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Sts.
