Ralph L. Pohl, age 83, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford. He was born November 11, 1929 in Coldwater, Ohio, to the late Roman & Cecelia (Homan) Pohl. On June 24, 1961, he married Joann (Muller) at St. Louis Church, North Star, Ohio and she survives in Coldwater. He is also survived by three children, Ronald & Marlene Pohl of Coldwater, Linda Pohl of Coldwater and Lisa & Ralph Leugers of Ft. Recovery, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister Rita & Willard Huwer of St. Henry. He is preceded in death by a brother Linus & Virginia Pohl. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea and it Holy Name society. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, with military rites. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater. Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
