Phyllis L. Frericks age 94 of Minster, Ohio died at 7:20 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. She was born on April 28, 1920 in Minster, Ohio to the late Julius and Frances (Gerwels) Schmieder. She married Clifford Frericks on February 22, 1941 in Minster, Ohio. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1989. She is survived by children Barbara & Don Farnsworth, Venice, FL, Dianne Voskuhl, Minster & Jan & Judy Frericks, Minster, grandchildren David Farnsworth, Nancy Farnsworth, Tess Abbott & Rod Frericks, great grandchildren Cody & Dustin Frericks, sister Beverly Barhorst, Ft. Loramie, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Ralph Voskuhl, sister June Kuenning & brother Kermit Schmieder. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster and she enjoyed playing bridge. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30AM Saturday, November 8, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Neiberding celebrant. Burial will take place at in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minster Area Life Squad.
