Pauline R. Schmiesing age 89 of Minster, Ohio died at 6:11 PM Monday, April 29, 2013 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. She was born September 21, 1923 in Ft. Loramie Ohio to the late Clemens & Emma (Seger) Bender. She married Melvin H. Schmiesing on April 27, 1946 in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2010. She is survived by children David & Marcile Schmiesing, Minster, Jane Guthrie, Dayton, Gary & Cindy Schmiesing, Portland, IN, Karen & Dale Topp, Anna, Mary & Thomas Jutte, Celina, Edna & Donald Kremer, Chickasaw, 18 grandchildren; Brian Schmiesing, Kevin Schmiesing, Amy & John Junkins, Sara & Saad Alhajeri, Jason & Britt Schmiesing, Craig & Brooke Schmiesing, Tyler & Shante Schmiesing, Erin & David Friend, Abby Schmiesing, Lucas Schmiesing, Philip & Elizabeth Jutte, Lauren & Neal Link, Mariah Jutte, Trisha Kremer, Curtis & Katie Kremer, Keith & Sara Kremer, Ryan Kremer & Kayla Kremer and 14 great grandchildren, Amari & Eliana Junkins, Zaid, Laila & Yusef Alhajeri, Flint & Monte Schmiesing, Brenna & Claire Schmiesing, Brandon Schmiesing, Bryce Jutte, Natalie Link, Haley & Austin (A.J.) Kremer; brothers and sisters Christine McDonald, Celina and Julius & Lois Bender, Minster, sisters-in-law Melba Bender, Ruth Bender & Irene Bender. She was preceded in death by brothers & sisters, Louise & Charles Francis, Aloysius & Clara Bender, Alvina & Clarence Cordonnier, Martin Bender, Albert & Bea Bender, Anna Marie & Jack Burnaby, Donald McDonald, Victor Bender, Lawrence & Ruth Bender & Edward Bender. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, FOE #1391 Auxilary, Minster and was retired from Copeland Corp, Sidney and was a member of the retiree's club. . Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Saturday May 4, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster from 2 to 8 PM on Friday, May 3, 2013 and from 9 to 9:30 on Saturday May 4, 2013. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
