Pauline E. Ruschau age 84 of St. Rt. 119 Maria Stein, Ohio died 9:00 AM Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at St. Marys Living Center. She was born October 21, 1928 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Louis & Rose (Spoltman) Mescher. She married Jerome "Jim" Ruschau on May 29, 1954. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2003. She is survived by children, Michael & Karen Ruschau, Cridersville, Sandra & Tim Hirschfeld, St. Marys, Mark & Theresa Ruschau, New Bremen, David & Molly Ruschau, Avon, Ohio, 9 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren, brother Linus & JoAnn Mescher, Celina. She was preceded in death by brothers & sister, Carl, Ralph, Wilfred & Don Mescher & Lucille Homan. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, the Director of Religious Education of St. John Parish, member of the Ladies Sodality of the Church, a Library Volunteer at Marion Local Schools & a member of American Legion Auxilary, Maria Stein. She was an avid reader & loved word puzzles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein with Rev. Tom Brenberger celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Friday, December 14.
