Paul L Klingshirn

Paul L Klinghirn, age 91, of Coldwater, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. He was born September 19, 1931 in Burkettsville to the late Leo & Leona (Sandrell) Klingshirn. On October 12, 1957 in Sharpsburg, he married Edna Timmerman, and she preceded him in 2015.

He is survived by children, Gary & Lisa Klingshirn of Maumee, Lois & Rick Muhlenkamp of Coldwater, and Alan Klingshirn of Walbridge; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and in-laws; Irene Timmerman of Ft. Recovery, Lucille & Jerome Laux of Ft. Recovery, Urban Dirksen of Ft. Recovery, Alma Timmerman of Coldwater.

He is preceded in death by; siblings and in-laws, Robert & Marjorie Klingshirn, Gerald Timmerman, Esther & Ben Hartings, Bernice Dirksen, Wilfred & Rita Timmerman, Richard & Laudonna Timmerman, Louis Timmerman, Erma & Arthur Eischen, Ruth & Lavern Gruss, and Joan & Gregory Hartings, and Jean Timmerman.

Paul was 1949 graduate of St. Henry High School and a Miami-Jacobs Business college graduate. He worked 41 years for the former New Idea in Coldwater in accounting and was on a team  implementing the first IBM computers for New Idea.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and the Coldwater Knights of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 9 to 10 am on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
