Patricia A. Homan, 83, of Celina, OH passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at St. Rita’s Hospital on January 10th.

She was born on July 20, 1942 to the late Frank & Agnes (Frenzer) Bueter.

She married Hilbert (Bert) Homan on December 28, 1960, who is deceased.

Survivors include her children and loved ones: Brenda (Ken) Lefeld of Coldwater, OH, Deb (Doug) Grieshop of Celina, OH, son-in-law John Kwapniewski of Las Vegas, NV, Susan (Dave) West of Kirkland, IL, Cindy (Dale) Herring of Mesquite, NV, Brad (Janice) Homan of Wapakoneta, OH, Tony (Tina) Homan of Seattle, WA & Michelle Homan (Jameson Rickert) of Sidney, OH.

She was blessed with 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, all of whom adored her.

Also surviving are her siblings Larry (Connie) Bueter of Lima, OH, Bob (Virginia) Bueter of Ft .Recovery, OH, Chris Uhlenhake of Ormand Beach, FL and Rick (Susan) Bueter of Westerville, OH.

Surviving her also is her sister-in-law, Bernice Frey of Osgood, OH.

She was fondly known as Aunt Pat to countless nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with each and every one of them.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Jeanne Kwapniewski, brother Don Bueter and sister-in-law Phyllis Bueter.

She was also preceded in death by in-laws Lillian & Orlie Flatt, Walter Frey, Delores & Don Replogle, Don & Marilyn Homan, Zeno Homan, JoAnn & Jim Pleiman and Mary Ann & Jack Young.

Pat had a long, full and interesting life. Some of her previous occupations include being a limo driver, casino cashier, store owner, office manager, farmer, rancher, as well as once filing her taxes as a professional gambler! Many in the area will remember her from the fairs as the Apple Dumpling Lady.

She was known for her quick smile, hugs and gift of gab. She was also known to be stubborn and independent, which served her well at times.

The family has planned a gathering at Hogenkamp’s Funeral Home in Coldwater on Feb. 15th to honor her memory from 1pm-5pm. A full Catholic Mass will be held on Feb. 16th at Holy Trinity Church in Coldwater at 10:30am. Vistors will also be received at the funeral home from 9am- 10am on Monday morning before the service.
