Omer R Klosterman

Omer R. Klosterman, age 95, of Montezuma, died on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Otterbein, St. Marys. He was born December 26, 1921 to John and Rosa (Dorsten) Klosterman.  On October 9, 1948 he married Rita (Uhlenhake) and she passed away on October 10, 1999.  On November 10, 2001 he married Anita (Beacham) Bible and she passed away on December 22, 2009.  He is survived by four children: Dianne and Steven Bertke of New Bremen, Ken and Laura Klosterman of Columbus, Steve Klosterman of Celina, and Annette and David Roeth of Celina; four grandchildren: Krista Bertke, Sean Klosterman, Mike and Tara Bath, and Aaron and Lindsay Bath, three great grandchildren: Colton, Savannah, and Case; and six step granddaughters and their families and a special friend Delores Schmitz. He is preceded in death by a brother, Maurice Klosterman; three sisters, Alma Meyer, Ethel Haren, and Dorothy Haber. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Montezuma. A lifetime farmer, he was a member of the NRA, Farm Bureau, NFO, and was a proud member of the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Montezuma.
