Omar G. "Jeep" Patton age 69 of 674 E. Third St. Minster, Died at 11:00 PM Thursday January 10, 2013 at Joint Township Hospital in St. Marys. He was born August 29, 1943 in Sidney, OH to Waldo and Thelmo (Fogt) Patton, they preceeded him in death. He was married on June 1, 1968 in Minster to Beverly Bergman, she survives in Minster along with her children Kirsten And Chris Erbe of Panama City Beach, FL; Tess and Doug Voisard of Minster and Kyle and Kelli Patton of Florence, KY. Seven grandchildren Grant, Reagan, Nixon, Layne, Kane, Max and Koen, 1 granddaughter Logan Voisard is Deceased. A brother William Patton also survives. Jeep was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, F O E 1391 Minster and a Veteran of the Vietnam War and The American Legion of Minster. A full military service will be conducted by the Minster Firing Squad a the cemetery. He was a tool maker and retired from Wayne Trail Tool Inc. of Ft. Loramie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday January 15, 2013 at St. Augustine Church, Rev. Rick Nieberding Presider, Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and 9:00 AM until 9:30 AM Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
