Omar G. "Jeep" Patton age 69 of 674 E. Third St. Minster, OH died at 11:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He was born August 29, 1943 in Sidney, OH to the Waldo & Thelmo (Fogt) Patton, they preceded him in death. He was married on June 1, 1968 in Minster, to Beverly Bergman, she survives in Minster along with her children Kirsten and Chris Erbe, Panama City Beach, FL, Tess & Doug Voisard, Minster, Kyle & Kelli Patton, Florence, KY, 7 grandchildren Grant, Reagan, Nixon, Layne, Kane, Max and Koen, 1 granddaughter Logan Voisard deceased. A brother William Patton also survives. Jeep was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, F.O.E. 1391 Minster, and a Veteran of the Vietnam War and the American Legion of Minster. A full Military service will be conducted by the Minster Firing Squad at the cemetery. He was a tool maker and retired from Wayne Trail Tool Inc. of Ft. Loramie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 145 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding preside. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster for 3 to 8 PM on Monday and form 9 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday.
