Norma Jean Prenger, age 81, of Coldwater, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Otterbein, St. Marys. She was born October 6, 1932 in Minster, to the late Joseph & Agnes (Heimann) Weiskittel. On October 23, 1954 she married Werner Prenger, who survives in Coldwater. She is also survived by five children, Lorraine & Rich Grimm of Loveland, Linda & Lee Dicke of New Bremen, Carol & Martin Inkrott of Findlay, Nancy & Chuck Stahl of Loveland and David Prenger of Loveland, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Carl & Jeannie Weiskittel of Albion, Michigan, and Janet & Wally Steinbrunner of Coldwater, and in-laws, Angela Prenger, Mildred D. Prenger and Edwin Prenger, all of Coldwater, Viola Schmidt of Osgood, Mary Ann Lefeld of St. Henry, Ralph & Ruth Ann Prenger of Botkins, Alma Meyer of Ft. Loramie, Cletus & Rosann Prenger of Minster and Therese & Roger Schmidt of McCartyville. She was also preceded in death by in-laws, Anna Weiskittel, Alvina & Vernon Ahrens, Norbert Prenger, Leonard Prenger, Mildred E. Prenger, Raymond Schmidt, Delores & Louis Meyer, Martin Lefeld and Herman Meyer. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the St. Ann's Altar Sodality and enjoyed family gatherings and traveling. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, with Fr. Richard Walling, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call on Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
