Norma Jean Magoto age 87 of Russia, Ohio died on Wendesday, October 14, 2015 at Brookdale Senior Living in Port Orange, Florida.She was born on September 10, 1928 in Miami County, Ohio to the late Wilmer & Cora (Kelch) Francis. She married John C. Magoto on November 9, 1948 in Russia, Ohio. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2015. She is survived by children, John & Rebecca Magoto, and Pamela & Mike Gilardi both of New Smyrna Beach, FL, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters Carolyn & Jim Barga, Versailles, Larry & Barb Francis Russia, Linda & Tom Monnin, Russia, Judy & Tony Monnin, Russia, in-laws Virginia Daniel, Ruth Magoto and brother Pete Magoto all of Russia. She was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-laws Jane Thomas & Rita Smith. She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia and the Rosary Altar Sodality of the Church.She was a 1946 graduate of Russia High School. She was a former Treasurer of Russia Local Schools. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. Remy Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Fox Celebrant.Burial will take place following the service at St. Remy Cemetery, Russia.Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 5 to 8 PM on Monday, October 19, 2015 and from 9 to 10 AM on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.Memorial donations may be made to The Gathering Place in Russia.
