Nicholis A. Nick Howe, age 64, of 330 E. North St., Coldwater OH, died 11:15 PM on Monday, May 02, 2011 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born August 30, 1946 in Celina OH to Harold 'Chick' Howe and Agnes (Katterheinrich) Howe. On April 12, 1969 he married Connie S. (Geise) in Coldwater, Ohio and she survives. Nicholis is survived by two children Joel & Amber Howe of Coldwater, Ohio and Jennifer & Tony Book of Fenton, MI, two grandchildren Leighanne & Remington Book, a brother Ronald & Linda Howe of Jonesboro, IN, an aunt Dolores Poppy of St. Marys, Ohio, his mother-in-law Butch Geise of Coldwater, Ohio and his in-laws, Janet & Ralph Gels of Coldwater, Ohio, Sandy & Charlie Fortkamp of Maria Stein, Ohio, Don & Jennifer Geise of Vandalia, Ohio, Pat & Jerry Kanney of Coldwater, Ohio and Jim & Tammy Tangeman of New York. He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Elmer Geise, uncle Raymond 'Ham' Poppy and two sisters-in-law Pat Howe and Deb Tangeman. He was a member of or the Coldwater Fraternal Order of Eagles, was an Eagle Scout and former president of the Vintage Motor Bike Club. He operated Nick Howe Sales & Service in Coldwater and worked at Minster Machine for 39 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, May 06, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
