Nicholas J. Rammel, age 71, of Celina, Ohio, died on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Mercer Community Hospital in Coldwater. He was born May 5, 1950, in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Willibald & Bernadetta (Wuebker) Rammel. On September 4, 1971 he married Cynthia Froning and she survives in Montezuma. He is survived by children, Lori & Chuck Hemmelgarn of Carthagena, Stacy & Mike Grolnic of Arvada, Colorado, Nathan & Anne (Peters) Rammel of Greenville, Hanna & Dan Vorisek of Athens, Ohio, and Josh & Beth (Hughes) Rammel of Wilmington, North Carolina; 19 grandchildren; and siblings and in-laws, Barbara Brackman, Agnes Rammel, Patti Rammel, Rose Rammel, Sister Pat Froning, Marge & Jim Goecke, Jim Brown, Urban Mescher, John & Bev (Bertke) Froning, and Katie Scholes.
Nick is preceded in death by a grandchild, Jesse Vorisek, siblings and in-laws, Ronald Rammel, Ivan Rammel, Eugene Rammel, Virginia Stephenson, Joan Froning, Judy Mescher, and Bill Scholes.
Nick was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Montezuma, Ohio. He was a graduate of St. Henry High School. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, and a member of the American Legion. Family, kids, and grandkids were his life.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery. Family and Friends may call on Monday, January 31 from 4pm-7pm and 9am - 10am on Tuesday, February 1 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses in9 Nick’s memory. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
