Natalia (Dee Dee) Barnhart Osterholt, 90, formerly of Philothea, Ohio and most recently of Coldwater, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 5, 2013. Dee Dee was born June 17, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Samuel & Anna (Bruns) Barnhart and was married May 8, 1943 to the love of her life Leo Osterholt who survives. Lee & Dee Dee are the parents of six children: Liz (Betty) Osterholt, Sarasota, Florida; Michael (Mary Ellen Droesch) Osterholt, Maria Stein; Margaret (Lee) Stachler, Minster; Joann Zbikowski, Dayton; Leo Osterholt Jr., Celina; and Emilie (Dave) Britton, New Bremen; a sister Mercedes Bergman, Ft. Recovery, twenty-one grandchildren, forty great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Lavern Bergman and three sisters. Dee Dee was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Angola, Indiana and was a charter member of NISCO Aerie #3025 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Coldwater. She was an avid sewer and quilter and has left her legacy with the many beautiful quilts she has created over the years. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Philothea, Ohio. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 to 10 am at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Condolences may be left online at hogenkampfh.com
