Nancy K. Wood

Nancy K. Wood age 61 of Bradford, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.  She was born January 14, 1960 in Greenville, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her father Robert Schaub who died on November 25, 2021 and is survived by her mother Lavonne “Cindy” Schaub in Russia.  She married Michael Wood on April 4, 1977 in Bradford, Ohio.  He survives in Bradford.  She is also survived by her children: Jennifer & Donnie Hochadel, Kettering, Michael Jr. & Christina Wood, Bradford, Darren & Laura Wood, Covington, Adam Wood, Covington, grandchildren: Megan, Natalie, Robert, Jacob, Claire, Clayton, brother Joe & Stephanie Klingshirn, Rossburg, in-laws, Janeen & Ron Selanders, Covington, Larry & Carol Wood, Bradford. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bradford, attended St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia.  She was on the Board of Directors for Abbey Credit Union and was a fiscal officer at the West Central Juvenile Detention Center for 27 years.  She was a blood, organ and tissue donor and did hair for many years and after she stopped doing hair, she continued to do hair for her family.  Nancy had an enormous love for her family and grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia.  Burial will follow at St. Remy Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 and from 9 to 10 AM on Wednesday.   In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Bradford Athletic Boosters.  Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com .
