Mildred R. Niekamp, age 90, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born October 21, 1922 in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Julius & Dorothy (Schaff) Luthman. On September 6, 1941 she married Adrian Niekamp and he died August 30, 1981. She is survived by two daughters, Rita & Ralph Schmit of Celina and Linda & Richard Steinbrunner of Montezuma, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a sister Edna Muhlenkamp of Celina, She was also preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law James & Arlene Niekamp, a son-in-law Dan Kinninger and a brother and sister-in-law Andrew & Luella Luthman. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and worked many years at the former Betties Restaurant in Coldwater. She volunteered at Community Hospital and was a member of the Coldwater Eagles Auxiliary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
