Mildred L. Hemmelgarn, age 87 of 642 N. Cherry St. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 3:00p.m. on Monday July 16, 2012 at the Briarwood Village in Coldwater. She was born on July 2, 1925 in St. Joe, Ohio to the late Clem & Anna (Brockman) Steinbrunner. On June 19, 1948 she married Leroy Hemmelgarn, who died Oct. 4, 2011. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law Jerry & Nancy Hemmelgarn of Celina, 3 grandchildren Hollie Haley, Tim Hemmelgarn, Brad Hemmelgarn, 4 great grandchildren Aiden Haley, Abigail Haley, Troy Hemmelgarn and Ali Hemmelgarn. She is preceded in death by her son David Hemmelgarn, brothers Walter Steinbrunner, Ralph Steinbrunner, and her sister Clara Ording. Mildred was formerly employed at Stockley's and Buy-Rite in Celina. Mildred was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and a member of the I.C. Altar-Rosary Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday July 19, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 5-7p.m. on Wednesday July 18, 2012 and from 9:30-10a.m. on Thursday morning at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
