Melvin Donald Leugers, age 74, of Celina, Ohio passed away at 1:34p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Laurels of Shane Hill Rockford, Ohio. He was born on January 12, 1938 in Neptune, Ohio to the late Henry and Nellie (Schwartz) Leugers. He is survived by his two sons & daughters-in-law Donald & Dawn Leugers of Celina, Scott & Teresa Leugers of Celina, one daughter & son-in-law Linda & David Eichler of Celina, 7 grandchildren, one brother & sister"in-law Robert & Marlene Leugers of Celina. Melvin was preceded in death by his brother & sister-in-law Lloyd & Ruth Leugers and his sister & brother-in-law Betty & Short Agler. Melvin served his country in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. He was formerly employed at Mersman Brothers Tables in Celina and New Idea in Coldwater. Melvin donated his body to the University of Cincinnati. A Memorial Gathering will be held at his Daughters House from 2-6p.m. on Thursday Dec. 20, 2012 at 209 Portland St. in Celina. The Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
