Maurice P. Bornhorst age 83, of Minster, OH died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster. He was born August 31, 1929 in Philothea, Ohio to the late Paul & Margaret (Stelzer) Bornhorst. He married Viola C. Meyer on November 4, 1950 in St. Patrick. She preceded him in death on July 2, 2011. He was preceded in death by an infant son, a grandchild, brother Charles Bornhorst, infant sister Rosemary Bornhorst, brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws, Lavern Gross, Vernon & Delores Meyer, Cleona & Victor Wyen, Bob & Wilma Ernst Kenneth Meyer, Walter & Vera Arling, Irene & Eugene Schmiesing, John Meyer, Joseph Meyer, Mary Meyer, Alberta Meyer, Carl Meyer, Margaret Meyer. He was a member of St. Augustine Church Minster, a U.S Army Veteran of the Korean War and a lifelong farmer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Augustine Church in Minster Rev. Rick Nieberding Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
