Maureen L. Meiring age 12 of 108 East Third St. Minster, Ohio passed away at 5:45 AM Monday, January 28, 2013 at her home following a 19 month illness. She was born September 7, 2000 in St. Marys, Ohio to Ken & Connie (Dahlinghaus) Meiring. They both survive in Minster. She is also survived by sisters Maggie 15, Gwen 11, Corrine 9 all at home, maternal grandparents Willard & Eunice Dahlinghaus, Egypt, Ohio. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Mike & Irene Meiring. Maureen was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, a 6th grader at Minster Elementary School and an Honor Roll Student. She was the Sunshine Award Recipient for the 4th grade, was the Peer Pals Class Representative for the 5th and 6th grades and was the recipient of the Wildcat Honor Spirit Stick Award for the 6th grade. She enjoyed basketball and softball. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 31 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Friday, February 1.
