Matthew R. Bonnoront

Matthew R. Bonnoront, age 68, of New Knoxville, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Joint Township Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.  He was born on January 18, 1953 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Edison & Bernice (Steinke) Bonnoront.  He married Karen Pleiman on December 10, 1976 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. She survives in New Knoxville.  He is also survived by children: Maria & Eric Little, Africa, Matthew Bonnoront & Sabrina Arblaster, Anna, grandchildren: Parker, Morgan, Ian & Michelle, siblings Gary Bonnoront, Sidney, Theresa Douglas, Sidney, Jonathan & Betty Bonnoront, Sidney, Bernadette “Bonnie” & Gust Larger, Huntsville, Candace “Candy” & Jason Alig, Botkins, in-laws Jerry & Linda Pleiman of Anna, Mike & Nancy Pleiman of Anna, Dave & Linda Pleiman of Cincinnati, Sandy & Jim Willhoite of Jeffersonville, John & Kathy Pleiman of Ft. Loramie, Sue & Joe Thieman of New Bremen, Kathy & Allan Fogt of Anna and Mark Thaman, Anna.  He was preceded in death by his parents & his in-laws: Jerome & Marcella Pleiman and sisters-in-law Mary Thaman & Judith Clement. Matt attended the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Steve Mondiek, celebrant. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Friends may call at SACRED HEART CHURCH Wednesday from 9 AM to 10 AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Do Good Restaurant, Osgood, Ohio.  Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster Ohio has been entrusted with the arrangements.
