Mary M. Romer, age 96 of Coldwater Ohio, died 04:00 AM on Thursday, October 06, 2011 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born October 13, 1914 in Coldwater, Ohio to Herman & Elizabeth (Reinders) Schoen. On October 17, 1940 she married Thomas Romer in Coldwater, Ohio and he died in 1949. Mary is survived by three sons George Romer, Celina, Ohio, Tom & Pat Romer, Coldwater, Ohio and Nick Romer, Celina, Ohio, a son-in-law Bill Knostman, Florida, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Catherine Knostman, a grandchild, a daughter-in-law Beverly Romer and two sisters Addie Dabbelt & Sr. Catherine Schoen. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater and retired from the Coldwater High School Cafeteria. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio.
