Mary M. Ritter

Mary M. Ritter age 102 of Russia, Ohio died Tuesday, May 24. 2022 at Versailles Health Care Center.  She was born July 3, 1919, in Russia, Ohio to the late William P. & Christine (Monnin) Voisard.  She married Orville “Dick” Ritter on February 3, 1940, and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1992.  She is survived by children: Carole Bruns, Russia, Jim & JoanLee Ritter, Canton, MI, Lisa & Mike Knapke, Oxford, OH, daughter-in-law Mary Jane Ritter, Minster, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by infant daughter Mary, son Layton “Jack’ Ritter, son-in-law Edgar Bruns, brothers: Orville & Clara Voisard, Leroy & Ruth Voisard, Homer & Viola Voisard and Paul & Erna Voisard.  Mary was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church and love to embroider, play cards and do word search puzzles.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, May 27, 2022, at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia.  Burial will follow at St. Remy Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 9 to 10 AM on Friday.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Everheart Hospice.  Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com .
