Mary Eileen Overman, age 86, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Coldwater Community Hospital. She was born November 22, 1926 in Russia, Ohio to the late Henry & Lena (Francis) Phlipot. On October 2, 1948 she married Fredrick Overman in Frenchtown, Ohio and he died March 28, 2001. She is survived by four children, Kathy & Dan Laux of Lima, Charles & Marla Overman of Rockford, Joe & Marlene Overman and Jackie & Donald Brunswick all of Coldwater, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Francis & Janice Phlipot of North Star, Pauline Siefring of Decatur, IN, Eugene & Mary Lou Phlipot of Minster and a sister in law Mary Phlipot of New Bremen. She is preceded in death by siblings and spouses, Joseph & Rosella Phlipot, Leo & Hilda Philpot, Charles & Bessie Phlipot, Edwin Phlipot, Ernie & Jeanette Phlipot, Mildred & Christopher Gaier, Loretta Edwards and Eleanor & Henry Schlater, a brother in law Harold Siefring and a sister in law Alma & Bill Stelzer. Eileen worked at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater and as a housekeeper. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the St. Ann's Rosary Altar sodality of the church and the Coldwater V.F.W. Auxiliary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
