Mary Agnes “Aggie” (Post) Ording, age 92, of St. Henry passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at The Gardens at St. Henry. She was born on April 10, 1933, in Trinity, Indiana to the late John & Agnes (Schroer) Post. On January 17, 1953, she married Ralph Ording. Aggie and Ralph were married for 62 years until Ralph’s passing on March 2, 2015.
Aggie is survived by her five children and their spouses, Mark & Leigh Ording of Washington Township, Cindy & Randy Brunswick of St. Henry, Bill & Karen Ording of Troy, Michigan, Mary & James Pope of Van Wert, and Tom & Kathy Ording of Versailles. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one on the way, a sister-in-law, Shelbie Post, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Aggie was preceded in death by siblings and in-laws, Rita & Elmer Moritz, Leona & Clarence Hartnagel, Lelia & Fred Minnich, Catherine & Harry Mitchell, Margaret & Joseph Naumcheff, Rose & David Costello, Victor & Eileen Post, Urban & Cecilia Ording, Arthur & Bea Ording, Edward & Clara Ording, Helen & John Dabbelt, Bernadine & Joseph Rentz and Alma & Don Emrick, and her father and mother-in-law, Henry & Mary Ording.
Aggie was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church where she was an active volunteer for many years. She was also a member of the Altar Rosary Sodality and was an avid supporter of the local library.
Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry. Following the funeral mass, burial will take place in St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, March 21, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Those who wishes to honor Aggie’s memory may consider doing so by donating to the St. Henry Library, or the St. Henry Catechetical Center. Condolences for the family may be expressed in person or online at hogenkampfh.com.
