Mary A. (Nieberding) Brandon-Ahlers, age 83, formerly of E. College St, Coldwater, Ohio, died on Wednesday, April 04, 2012 at Dorothy Love Retirement Village, Sidney, Ohio. She was born April 14, 1928 in Coldwater, Ohio to William and Elizabeth (Bruns) Nieberding. On July 17, 1946 she married Dale Brandon and he died in 1968, then on August 06, 1971 she married Bartel Ahlers and he died in 2008. Mary is survived by five daughters, Elaine & Joe Oen of Russia, Ohio, Connie & Bill Anthony of Santa Barbara, CA, Doris Anderson & Robert Lawson of Williston, VT, Joan & Ken Knapke of Sidney, Ohio and Maria & Albert Wray of Sidney, Ohio, 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three sons Ralph, Marvin & Richard, two sisters Edna Heitkamp & Bertha Homan and two brothers Ed Nieberding & Bernard Nieberding. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio, the St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality of the Church, she was a CCD teacher and a member of the prayer group. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, April 09, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star Ohio.
