Mary Jo Schmiesing

Mary Jo Schmiesing, age 76 of Minster, Ohio, died at 6:35 AM on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Elmwood New Bremen. She was born on July 11, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Thomas & Luella (Romer) Mestemaker. She married Dwight L. Schmiesing on August 8, 1970 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, Ohio and he survives in Minster. She is also survived by children: Scott Schmiesing, Minster, and Kevin & Michelle Schmiesing, Greenville, step grandson Austin Hayes, in-laws: Kaye Wint, New Bremen, Betty Cepino, Murfreesboro, TN and Jim & Peg Schmiesing, Ft. Loramie. She was preceded in death by her in-laws: Leonard & Helen Schmiesing. Mary Jo was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and liked dogs and doing latch hook. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM Thursday, May 4, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster.
