Mary Margaret Hoelscher age 91 formerly of Ft. Loramie, Ohio died at 9:12 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her daughter's home in Versailles. She was born on June 8, 1923 in Shelby County, Ohio to late Clarence & Genevieve (Paulus) Hole. She was also preceded in death by her step father Ben Poeppelman. She married Aloys (Bud) Hoelscher on June 14, 1944. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1990. She is survived by daughter Jane & Louis Huber, Versailles, son-in-law Joseph & LaDonna Hoying, North Carolina, grandchildren Melinda & Eric Barlage, Jessica & Miguel Gonzalez & Joseph & Marilauren Hoying, great grandchildren: Morgan & Jada Barlage, Susanna & Noah Gonzalez & Catherine Hoying, sister: Genevieve Voisard, Russia, step siblings Esther Hoelscher, Newport, Lester & Eileen Poeppelman & Edna & Clifford Wise, Minster, in-laws: Roberta Hoelscher, Piqua. She was preceded in death by daughter Susan A. Hoying, sisters Dorothy & Urban Gaier, Hilda & Clarence Siegel, step siblings: Bernadine & Tom Froning, Alvin & Martha Poeppelman, Conrad Hoelscher, Albert & Ruth Hoelscher & in-laws Carl Voisard, Luke Hoelscher, Albert & Mary Helen Gaier, Martha & Phillip Berning and good friend Norbert Stueve. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Minster FOE #1391 Auxiliary & the Versailles YMCA Silver Sneakers. She worked at Earl's Island as a waitress, at Don's Dry Cleaning, Ft. Loramie, a cafeteria worker at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys and as a homemaker. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 St. Michael Catholic Church Ft. Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 4. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
