Mary Catherine (Kay) Buening, age 68, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Thursday, April 05, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born January 15, 1944 in St. Henry, Ohio to Aloys Wendel and William and Viola (Everman) Wuebker. On November 23, 1968 she married Gerald J. Buening and he died July 20, 2007. Kay is survived by five children Jackie & Mike Sudhoff of South Charleston, Ohio and Penny & Wes Bogner of Dayton, Ohio, Marie & Tom Few of Winchester, TN, Ron & Abi Buening of North Dakota and Richard & Lori Buening of Celina, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, four sisters Doris Shrader of Dayton, Ohio, Ruth & Larry Tangeman of New Bremen, Ohio, Pat Wuebker of Dayton, Ohio and Carol & Ed Jones of Celina, Ohio and three brothers Merinus Wuebker of Celina, Ohio, Bernard & Alice Wuebker of Coldwater, Ohio and Dennis & Mary Kay Wuebker of Maria Stein, Ohio. She is preceded in death by a brother Larry Wuebker, a brother-in-law Jim Shrader and a sister-in-law Judy Wuebker. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Henry High School class of 1963 , the Forever Friends Card Club of Jean Mueller, Jo Brunswick, Carol Beckman, Carol Bruns, Lou Ann May, Lois Downs, Ruth Frantz and Sue Mescher. Kay worked as a nurses aide for Celina Visiting Nurses . Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 12:30 PM to 1:25 PM.
