Mary Ann Droesch

Mary Ann Droesch, age 82, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Celina Manor. She was born July 14, 1935 in Coldwater to the late Herman & Mary (Wolters) Braun. She married Robert L. Droesch on October 16, 1971 and he died January 28, 2006. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara & Tom Bruggeman of Celina; grandchildren Amber, Paige & Justin; siblings, Walter Braun of Maria Stein and Louis Braun of St. Henry; and in-laws Dale Droesch of Coldwater and Linda Droesch of St. Henry. She is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws, Luella & Ernest Ontrop, Sr. Mary Rose Braun, Ernest Braun, Lou Ann & Cletus Wellman, Paul Droesch, Sylvia Braun, Marian Braun and Dolores Droesch. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, St. Ann’s Rosary Altar Sodality of the church, Red Hat Society and Secular Franciscans. Mary Ann worked as a cook for the Precious Blood for 20 years, worked in local restaurants until 1979 then cooked at Community Hospital and St. Charles center until retiring in 2004. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, August 28, 2017 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.  Friends may call from 1 to 5 pm Sunday and 9 to 10 am Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
