Martha Jane Hanna, age 86, of 1311 Fairground Rd. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 8:25 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 24, 1925 in Ashland, Ohio to the late Dewey and Martha (Immel) Brown. On January 27, 1950 she married Vernis Glen Hanna, who lives in Celina.

Martha is also survived by: her sons & daughters-in-law Ray & Ruth Hanna, Paul & Phyllis Hanna , Dave & Deb Hanna, Mark & Patricia Hanna all of Celina, 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and her sisters Helen Ewbank and Mary Thompson both of Ashland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by: sisters Francis Nelson, Pauline Smith, Ruth Ann Young and her grandson Nathan Hanna.

She graduated from Polk High School in 1943 and received her degree in Children's Bible Studies from Central Bible Institute, Springfield, MO, in 1947. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday September 8, 2011 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Bruce Head & Rev. Tony Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-4 &6-8p.m. on Wednesday September 7, 2011 and one hour before services at the funeral home.
