Mark "Duke" Droesch age 90 of Maria Stein, Ohio died at 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 3, 1923 in Maria Stein, Ohio to the late Augustus & Catherine (Vondrel) Dreosch. He is survived by special friend Sue Meiring, Maria Stein, sister Ruth Mueller, Maria Stein and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother & sisters, Robert Droesch, Dorothy Homan, Elenore Fortman & Hilda Schmitz. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a member of the Ft. Recovery and of the Maria Stein American Legion. HE worked at Matt Schwieterman Construction Inc. for over 40 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, with Rev. Gene Schnipke, Celebrant. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM on Thursday. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial donations may be made to AMVETS.
