Mark A. Brandewie age 73 of 276 S. Hanover St. Minster, Ohio died 3:34 PM Tuesday November 1, 2011 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He was born December 18, 1937 in Egypt, Ohio to Carl and Odelia (Cron) Brandewie, they preceeded him in death. He was married on October 10, 1959 in Minster, OH to Sharon L. Bachman she died August 7, 2009. Mark is survived by his children Jeff Brandewie, Jon and Sue Brandewie, Jennifer Salm and Jaime and Rob Hemmelgarn all of Minster. A Daughter Joy Brandewie is Deceased. 12 Grandchildren Megan, Holly, Nicole, Alyx, Dana and Leah Brandewie, Chad, Dustin and Jarret Salm and Laney, Lyndi and Jace Hemmelgarn. Mark is also survived by three brothers Jerry Brandewie of North Star, OH; Ken Brandewie of Sidney, OH and Tim Brandewie of Kansas, a sister-in-law Juanita Brandewie of Egypt. Deceased include a Brother Eugene Brandewie and a sister-in-law Joan Brandewie. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Chruch in Minster, Minster Athletic Boosters, F O E 1391 Minster, Army Veteran of The Korean War, V F W of Minster and The Minster American Legion. He was retired from The Minster Machine Co. Service Dept after 38 Years and Precision Strip Inc. of Minster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Augustine Church, Rev. Rick Nieberding Celebrant, burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 PM till 8:00 PM Friday and 9:00 AM till 9:30 AM Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
