Marjorie E. Giere age 56 of Ft. Recovery - Minster Road Maria Stein, OH, died 12:00 AM Thursday October 24 at her residence following a fifteen month illness. She was born August 13, 1957 in Coldwater, OH to Paul & Virginia (Boecker) Rosenbeck, they preceeded her in death. On December 3, 1976 she married Joseph Giere who survives along with their four sons, James & Jamie Giere, Maria Stein, Douglas Giere, Chickasaw, Gregory Giere, Findlay, Jacob Giere, Maria Stein and one grandson Victor Giere. Her siblings include Dick & Nancy Rosenbeck, Weatherford, TX; Jan & John Ranly, Cassella; Chris & Tony Prenger, Maria Stein; Angie & Jack (dec.) Heuker, Chickasaw; Joyce & Mark Fritz, Coldwater; Barb & Wayne Hein, Chickasaw; Dan & Beth Rosenbeck, Chickasaw; Ron & Diane Rosenbeck, Trinity, IN and Steve & Mary Beth Rosenbeck, Chickasaw. Her in-laws are Edmund & Jeanette Giere of Maria Stein and their family Larry (dec.) & Vic Giere, Celina; Ed & Deb Giere, Montezuma; Tom & Angie Giere, Dayton; Gary & Connie Giere, Yorkshire; Jenny & Steve Wuebker, Maria Stein and one deceased Sister in-law Sheryl Giere. Marge was a member of St. John the Baptist Church Maria Stein, the Ladies Sodality of the Church, a 1975 Graduate of Marion Local High School, was a baby sitter for 25 years and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, her family meant everything to her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Church at 10:30 AM Monday Oct. 28, 2013, with Rev. Gene Schnipke Presiding. Burial will Follow at St. John Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday and 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Memorial Donations may be made to The Mercer County Cancer Association.
