Marilyn A Meyer

Marilyn A. Meyer, age 82, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Gardens of St. Henry. She was born July 15, 1935 in McCartyville to the late August & Mary (Herbert) Barhorst. She married Ralph J. Meyer on February 27, 1960 and he survives in St. Henry. She is survived by her children: Joan & Ted Griesdorn of Coldwater, Larry & Becky Meyer  of Celina, Carla & Dale Kahlig, Jim Meyer, Ralph & Carmen Meyer and Sandy & Eric Bettinger all of Coldwater; 21 grandchildren: Tony, Kelly, Justin, Kim, Dan, Cody, Ralph, LJ, Nathan, Anna, Michael, Matthew, Robert, Alex, Ben, Chris, Seth, Kala, Lexi, Malave, Creighton; 10 great grandchildren: Andrea, Aric, Lauryn, Lukas, Wyatt, Jaxon, Aubree, Morgan, Colton, Kendra; siblings Doris Bruggeman, Dolores Bruggeman both of St. Henry, Joseph & Wilma Barhorst of Philothea and Martha & Richard Subler of New Bremen and in-laws Clarissa Barhorst of Russia, Ivo Braun of Portland, IN, Sr. Norma Meyer SFP of Cincinnati, Thelma & Earl Smith of Newport, Linus & Sylvia Meyer of Maria Stein, Harold & Janice Meyer of St. Marys, and Mary Ann & Dave Groff of Huntington, IN. She is preceded in death by a grandson Zachary; a great granddaughter Kaitlyn; siblings and in-laws Clarissa & William Brinkman, Charline Homan-Schmit, Werner Homan, Lavern Schmit, Virgil Bruggeman, Werner Bruggeman, Herbert Barhorst, Clarence & Shirley Barhorst, Emily & Jack Subler, Eloise Braun, Marjorie & Ed Rethman, Joseph Meyer and Deb Meyer.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Coldwater Eagles and loved to play Bingo. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call 2 to 8 pm Friday and 9 to 10 am Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Memorial may be made to State of the Heart Care. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
