Marilyn (Corrigan) Nagy, age 87, formerly of 6100 Nagy Rd. in Celina, passed away at 9:34p.m. on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the Briarwood Manor in Coldwater, Ohio. She was born on Oct. 31, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Edward M. & Cecelia (Moorman) Corrigan. On July 19, 1947 she married John K. Nagy, who died Oct 23, 2006. Survivors include her sons & daughter-in-law John E. & Pam Nagy, Mark Nagy & David Monnin all of Celina, daughters & sons-in-Law Carla & Linus Post of Coldwater, Cecelia "CeCe" & Terry Kremer of Celina and 8 grandchildren John & Rita Nagy of Celina, Adam Nagy of Celina, Brian Post of Columbus, Amy Post of Coldwater, Tyler Post of Columbus, Amber Knouff of Boston, Joshua Knouff of Minot,N.D., Danielle Kremer of Vandalia, 2 great grandchildren Blake Nagy, Bryce Nagy of Celina, brothers Edward & Sue Corrigan of Vandalia, and Henry F. Corrigan of Florida. Marilyn was preceded in death by her son-in-law Jerry Knouff and a grandson Kyle Knouff.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Montezuma.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday May 12, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Montezuma, with Fr. Alfons Minja C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday and from 9-10a.m. on Monday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
