Marian L. Langenkamp, age 91, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Greenville, died on Monday, February 2, 2015. She was born April 11, 1923 in Cranberry Prairie, to the late John & Regina (Schwieterman) Huwer. On August 7, 1946 she married Ivo Langenkamp, and he died February 2009. She is survived by four children, James & Julia Langenkamp of Cincinnati, Donald Langenkamp of Greenville, Connie & Jeffrey Stammen of North Star, and Larry & Doria Langenkamp of Orlando, Florida, five grandchildren, Stephen, Max, Craig, Cheri and Brent, six great-grandchildren, Cymone, Noelle, Stephen James, Seth, Phillip and Jazlyn, one great-great grandchild, Rylie, a sister, Eileen Barga of Versailles, sisters-in-law, Anna Huwer of Coldwater and Marilyn Huwer of North Star and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers, Victor Huwer and Charles Huwer and in-laws, Vince & Lucille Gehle, Albert & Mary Langenkamp, Ado & Marie Langenkamp and Richard Barga. She was a former member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She assisted her husband on the farm for many years while providing produce for her family from her large garden and fruit orchard. She especially loved working with the flowers bordering that garden. After retiring with her husband to Greenville, she continued to serve her family and community. Later she moved to Orlando to live with her youngest son and his wife. She enjoyed bible reading, the wide array of flowers near her home, baseball in the Florida sunshine and going out to eat. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Monday, February 9, 2015 at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenville. Friends may call from 1:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Russia and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Monday at St. Louis Church. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
