Marian H. Braun age 84 of Maria Stein, Ohio died at 10:00 PM on Friday November 21, 2014 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater, Ohio. She was born April 22, 1930 in Osgood, Ohio to the late Joseph R. & Cecilia (Bruening) Frey. She married Walter Braun on September 7, 1957 in Osgood, Ohio. He survives in Maria Stein. She is also survived by children David & Ann Braun, Troy, Ohio, Daniel Braun & fiancé Michelle Fiedler, Ft. Wayne, IN, Doris Wale, St. Marys, Ohio, 7 grandchildren: Gabbie, Brittney & Courtney Braun, Morgan & Chris Benoit, Rachel, Heather & Jenna Wale & 2 great grandchildren Riley & Lily Benoit, brothers & sisters, Alberta & Willard Bruns, St. Sebastian, Marilyn Homan, Coldwater, in-laws: Herbert Hoying, Sidney, Juliana Frey, Ft. Loramie, Bernie Frey, Dayton, Bernice Frey, Osgood, Mary Ann Droesch, Celina, Louis Braun, St. Henry. She was preceded in death by children: Mary, Jane & James, brothers, sisters & in-laws: Betty & Cy Overman, Lucille & Andrew Bergman, Ralph & Esther Frey, Alvin Frey, Dorothy Hoying, Vernon Frey, Walter Frey, Donald Homan, Luella & Ernest Ontrop, Sister Rose Braun, Robert W. Droesch & Sylvia Braun. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church & the Ladies Sodality of the Church. She worked at Versailles Egg Auction, Mercy Hospital, Coldwater, Hemmelgarn Eggs, a homemaker & 10 years in the dietary department at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed her grandchildren and all small children. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Brenberger celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster.
