Margie E. Fortman

Margie E. Fortman age 69 of Hilliard formerly of Minster died on December 19, 2020 at Mill Run Care Center, Hilliard.  She was born in Minster, Ohio on July 18, 1951 to the late Anthony & Mathilda (Meyer) Fortman.  She is also preceded in death by her sister-in-law Margaret Fortman.  She is survived by a brother Ronald Fortman, nieces Laura Fortman-Jones & Paul Jones, Elaine & Luis Alicea and nephew Peter Fortman & Radha Venkat, a grand niece Lydia Fortman-Jones and a grand nephew Dominic Alicea.

Margie handled the challenges life gave her with good spirits and determination. She was an inspiration for many that knew her. She enjoyed many trips to Walt Disney World and Alaska among other places.  A high spot in her day was visiting with her friends at the Minster Eagles.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Minster Eagles or Mill Run Care Center, Hilliard, Ohio.  The family would love to visit with friends and family but due to the COVID 19 pandemic there will be a private graveside service at St. Augustine Cemetery, but a Mass of remembrance will be held at a later date to share memories and good times.  Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
