Margaret (Kuhn) Highley, age 90, of 9258 Hoenie Rd. in Celina, Ohio passed away at 12:30 a.m., on Thursday May 29, 2014 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on Jan 23, 1924 in Black Creek Twp., Ohio to the late Leroy Augustus & Opal (Jackson) Kuhn. On Feb. 23, 1946 she married her husband of 66 years Floyd Wayne Highley, who died Nov. 26, 2012. Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law Patty & Bud Schoenleben of Celina, two sons & daughters-in-law Randy & Kim Highley of Celina, Doug & Becci Highley of Celina, 8 grandchildren Kerry & Betsy Schoenleben, Kelly & Jason Black, Kassie & Brian Holstad, Tracy & Aaron Watercuter, Toby & Melissa Highley, Kody & Lindsey Highley, Kole & Megan Highley, Kane Highley, 15 great-grandchildren, brothers & sisters-in-law Donald & Pat Kuhn of Arcadia, Fl., Charles & Jackie Kuhn of Licking MO., Tom & Maryabeth Kuhn of Salem Mo., Freeda Kuhn of Rockford, sisters & brothers-in-law Judy & Philip Lautzenheiser of Van Wert and Rita Swygart of Decatur, IN. Margaret was preceded in death by her brother Dean & Marilyn Kuhn, Kenneth Kuhn and her sister & brother-in-law Maxine & Virgil Vorhees. She graduated from I.C. High School with the Class of 1942. Margaret was a Scientific Specialist for six years. She polished Lenses for the military during World War II. She was a member of St. Teresas Catholic Church in Rockford and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She was a housewife on the family farm and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will miss her, but she is in heaven with all of her friends, family and most of all her Husband.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday June 2, 2014 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford, Ohio, with Fr. Kenneth G. Alt C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in Friends Cemetery in Rockford, Ohio. Friends may call from 1-7p.m. on Sunday June 1, 2014 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
