Margaret A. Bruns, age 94 formerly of Egypt, Ohio passed away 7:45 PM on October 12, 2011 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born September 11, 1917 in Maria Stein, Ohio to the late Henry & Lena (Hoelscher) Rutschilling. She was married on April 23, 1941 at St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein, to Clarence Bruns. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1959. She is survived by her children: Jan & Jim Slankard, Somerton, Arizona, Lucy & Duane Barga, North Star, Ohio, Ruth Bruns & Raymond McDonald , Dayton, Ohio, Michael Bruns, Ft. Loramie, Ohio, Vicki & Bob Leimbach, Vermillion, Ohio, Rita & Leon Hemmert, Botkins, Ohio & Paul & Beck Bruns, Maria Stein, Ohio; sisters Jeannette Thobe, New Knoxville, Ohio, Mary Agnes Boeckman, Coldwater, Ohio, sister-in-law Viola Bruns, Coldwater, Ohio, 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter-in-law Mary Bruns, sisters & brothers, Louise & Larry Schwartz, Bill & Alma Rutschilling, Ralph Boeckman & Art Thobe, in-laws, Bob & Alvina Bruns, Ray Bruns, Marie & Al Eilerman & Ed & Norma Bruns. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, Egypt, Ohio, St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality and the Knights of St. John Auxillary, Maria Stein, Ohio. She was retired from Crown Equipment, New Bremen, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Monday, October 17, 2011at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, Ohio with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, Ohio from 1 to 7 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2011 and from 9 to 10 AM on Monday, October 17, 2011.
