Marcella Reier, age 92, of St. Henry, died September 18, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater. She was born July 19, 1924, in Portland, Indiana, to the late Phillip & Doretta (Schroer) Wellman. On February 5, 1947, she married Wilbert Reier, who died June 8, 2016. She is survived by four children, Robert & Phyllis Reier of St. Henry, Kathy Davis of St. Henry, Mary & Jim Lefeld of Mason, and Nancy & Jim Borgert of Wapakoneta. Marcella is also survived by ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two on the way, and sisters: Doris Grieshop of Celina, Wilma & Jim Pfeffenberger of Celina, and Jeanette & Richard (Dick) Alig of Coldwater; sisters in-law: Norma Wellman of Indiana, Viola Kemper of Chickasaw, and Pauline & Alfred Luttmer of St. Henry. She was preceded in death by a son in-law Bill Davis; siblings: Mildred & Melvin Brunswick, Norbert & Julie Wellman, Cletus & Lou Ann Wellman, and Lavern (Bud) Wellman and brothers in-law: Walter Reier and Werner Kemper. Marcella was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. She formerly worked for the former Mersman Furniture Company in Celina. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband, playing cards, and their annual trip to Texas, which they completed over 18 times. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Henry EMS.
