Marcella 'Sally' M. Lefeld, age 97, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born February 26, 1915 in Philothea, Ohio to the late Frank & Anna (Pleiman) Hemmelgarn. On September 05, 1936 she married Joseph H. Lefeld in Philothea, Ohio, and he died December 25, 1990. She is survived by four children, Jo Ann & Ron Catanzaro of Dayton, Stanley & Margie Lefeld of Coldwater, Linda & Don Lennartz of Ft. Recovery and Gary & Vickie Lefeld of Coldwater, a daughter-in-law, Therese Lefeld of Coldwater, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, Agnes Pohlman of Versailles, and Bernie Homan, Ben Lefeld, Hank & Trudy Lefeld and Mary Ann Lefeld, all of St. Henry. She is preceded in death by two sons, Melvin Lefeld and David Lefeld, a brother, Ed & Josephine Hemmelgarn, brothers- and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kuess, Alvina & Bill Stammen, Ed & Viola Lefeld, Serf & Clarina Lefeld, Ot Pohlman, Agnes Lefeld, Al Homan and Martin Lefeld, and a great-grandchild. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Coldwater in which she was a Past President, the Coldwater Eagles Auxiliary in which she was a Past President, and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality of the church. For many years she was a volunteer for the blood mobile and the Coldwater Community Picnic. She worked for Lefeld Welding & Steel Supplies and the former Jutte's IGA in Coldwater. She was a card player, bowler and active in aerobics. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
