Lucille M. Droesch age 91 of Chickasaw, Ohio died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on August 6, 1923 in Cassella, Ohio to the late Peter & Sophia (Speck) Ranly. She married Bernard "Ben" Droesch on October 9, 1946 in Cassella, Ohio. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2008. She is survived by children: Helen & Bob Uhlenhake, St. Henry, Mary & Mick Osterholt, Maria Stein, Thelma & Martin Topp, New Bremen, Jane & Bruce Weide, Worthington, Don & Rosann Droesch, Maria Stein, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren 5 step great great grandchildren, sister Ella Mae & Ralph Liette, Chickasaw, brothers Orville Ranly, Celina & Don & Joan Ranly, Columbia, MO, in-laws: Rosemary Obringer, Coldwater, Marie Ranly, St. Henry, Barbara & Don Heitz, Delphos, Rosa Anna Mox, Delphos, Don Gerdeman, Delphos, Mary Droesch, St. Henry, Rosemary Droesch, Chickasaw. She was preceded in death by infant daughter Bernice, sisters & brothers-in-law: Alvina & Walter Klosterman, Hilda & Florus Obringer, Sr. Teresa Joseph Ranly, Rita & Ray Flaute, infant sister Mary Ellen Ranly, brothers & sisters-in-law: Norbert & Ethel Ranly, Fr. Victor Ranly, Paul & Erma Ranly, Art & Eileen Ranly, Fr. Ernest Ranly, infant brothers Joseph & Walter Ranly. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Ohio, where she taught religion classes and also classes in St. Henry Parish. She was a charter member & past president of the Chickasaw VFW Post 9019 Auxiliary and the Maria Stein American Legion Post 571 Auxiliary and a member of the Cassella C. K. of A. 943, the Ladies Sodality of Precious Blood Church and significantly influenced the creation of Cheryl Ann Program. Lucille obtained her GED in August of 1988. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Ohio with Rev. Gene Schnipke, celebrant. Burial will take place in Precious Blood Cemetery.
