Louis P. Ahrns age 57 of 6704 Cisco Rd. Ft. Loramie, Ohio died at 3:30 PM on Thursday May 1, 2014 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. He was born on September 11, 1956 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Joseph & Mary (Keller) Ahrns. He married Denise Rindler on April 28, 1984 in St. Henry, Ohio. She survives in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. He is also survived by son Jerry Ahrns and fiancé Melissa Wenning and her son Zachary of Ft. Loramie and daughter Jayme & Dan Brockman and their daughter Emily of Ft. Recovery, brothers & sisters, Leo Ahrns, Ft. Loramie, Esther & Joe Heitkamp, Ft. Recovery, Vernon & Amy Ahrns Ft. Loramie, Leroy & Phyllis, Sidney, mother-in-law Benita Rindler, Coldwater, in-laws, Bill & Christie Rindler, Rossburg, Randy & Deb Rindler, Tipp City, Curt & Patti Rindler, Anna, OH, Karen & Frank Goffena, Maria Stein, Tony & Sandy Rindler, St. Henry, Jacqui & Steve Lehmkuhl, Tipp City, Gina Rindler, Sidney & Tom & Lisa Rindler, Tipp City. He was preceded in death by brothers Leon & Jerome Ahrns, sister-in-law Rita Ahrns & father-in-law William "Sonny" Rindler. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport and the Men's Sodality of the Church. He was also a member of the Knights of St. John, Ft. Loramie, Minster F.O.E. #1391and Walkup Country Club. He was a 1976 graduate of Ft. Loramie High School and work at Clopay in Russia, Ohio until his illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport with Rev. Steven Shoup celebrant. Burial will take place in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 5, 2014 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ft.
