Lorena K. Vannett, age 93, of 323 E. North St, Coldwater, Ohio, died on Monday, July 16, 2012 at her home. She was born August 28, 1918 in North Star, Ohio to the late George and Mary (Overman) Zumbrink. On August 16, 1941 she married William F. Vannett and he died July 03, 1980. Lorena is survived by two daughters Sharon Thomas of Coldwater and Jayne & Ronnie Norton of Celina, a daughter-in-law Pam Vannett of Delphos, 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a special niece Linda Linn of Celina. She is preceded in death by a daughter & son-in-law Carla & Werner Depweg, a son William N. Vannett and two sisters & brothers-in-law Leona & Albert Everman and Romania & Bevan Linn. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and the St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality of the church. Lorena worked as a baby sitter for many years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, OH with Fr. Marc Soellner, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater.
