Lois Jean Mescher

Lois “Jean” Mescher, age?65, of?Coldwater, passed on?peacefully Friday, March 3, 2017 at?Lima Memorial Hospital. ?She was born?August 6, 1951, in Sidney, to the late?Kenneth Meyer Sr & Alvera (Broerman) Meyer-Arling. On?September 23, 1972, she married William Mescher, who passed on November 20, 2009.?She is survived by three?children, Lynn Mescher of Spencerville, Kevin & Sarah Mescher of New Bremen, and Christa Mescher of Coldwater, four grandchildren, Gavin, Olivia, Reece, Griffin, a brother, Kenneth & Ginger Meyer of Piqua, and in-laws, Annette Meyer of Minster, Sue Mescher of Burkettsville, Helen ‘Butch’ Jacobs of Coldwater and Paula & Ned Hileman of Rockford.?She is preceded in death by?step-father, Walter Arling, a brother, Wayne Meyer, a sister, Barbara O’Meara and in-laws, Edward O’Meara, Thomas Mescher and Donald Jacobs. She was a member of?Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and was a stay at home Mom, not only to her children but the entire kids of the community as well. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at?10:30 AM?on?Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at?Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St.?Elizabeth?Cemetery.
